SKATEISTAN BENEFIT

Oraganized Disorder, event organizing by Nikki Sloate, is holding a special
benefit for Skateistan on Wednesday November 28th at The Roxie Theater in San
Francisco.

Skateistan is an independent, neutral Afghan non-governmental organization that
works with youth from a range of ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds to
build trust and to provide empowerment through a combination
of skateboarding and educational activities. It is based in Kabul, Afghanistan, and

The Benefit will include two special screenings of the full length documentary,
"Skateistan- Four Wheels and a Board in Kabul". The screenings will take place at
8pm and 10:15 pm. There will be a Q&A after the 8pm screening, with
filmmakers Rene Kock and Nadia Hennrich. As well as special guest,
professional skateboarder Cairo Foster, who also appears in the film. For a

The event will be hosted by Chris Casey and Jeff Carlson(Captain) of “The
Captain and Casey Show”

In addition, there will be a raffle after each screening with prize packages
including skateboards and other hard goods, skate shoes, skate clothing,
artwork, tattoo time with various local artists and more.

We will be selling Skateistan merchandise such as t-shirts, hoodies, and books
which will also benefit the cause directly. They will be available in the lobby of the
Roxie, as well as two doors down at Delerium. Delerium will be hosting an
after party! Free admission and a percentage of the bars proceeds being donated
to Skateistan. DJ to be announced soon.
