In San Francisco’s cultural zeitgeist, the Psyched-Out ‘60s became the Swingin’ ‘70s. None were more emblematic of that shift than a polymorphous group of proud freaks holed up in North Beach – The Cockettes. In their brief existence, they blasted out twenty shows and four films.
