REWIND SF is a film series celebrating the movies that make us grin from ear to ear — queer camp maximalism, the films you couldn’t keep out of your VCR that will live in your heart for decades. Some critically acclaimed and others… not so much. 

MEDIA MELTDOWN is a queer art and event production collective formed in 2019 by drag performers Kafka X & Piranha Psychotronica. Getting their start with immersive nightlife events throughout the Bay Area, a successful digital streaming network, and a handful of short films which have screened at festivals across the country, Media Meltdown is best known today for Movie Madhouse (their gonzo film series every 3rd Sunday at the 4 Star Theater), Select Thine Own Journey (their original series of hilarious “choose your own adventure”-style theater shows), and as the current producers of the San Francisco Underground Short Film Festival (returning to the Bay Area 11/15).
