As a non-profit, we’re first and foremost guided by our mission statement, which says in part “The historic Roxie Theater exists to ignite and sustain a rich cinema culture in our diverse city and beyond. We offer community-focused programming where audiences engage with films that entertain, educate, and inspire. ” This inspires everything we do.

Our aim is to keep improving in order to serve our communities better, standing strong at 16th and Valencia as a place where anyone can come watch a movie, be moved, and feel like they’re a part of the fabric of the Roxie, of the Mission, and of the City we love.
