Sleepbomb returns to The Roxie for the San Francisco debut of their new and revised original score to Robert Weine’s 1920 exploration of psychological horror – The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari! Come be hypnotised by”the amazing visuals, insane plot twists and Sleepbomb’s doomy drones with the film widely considered to be the defining work of the German Expressionist genre!

Celebrating their 20th year, Sleepbomb is an SF ensemble focused primarily on film-adjacent music. Stylistically ranging from drone and electronics to sludge and doom. Sleepbomb’s unique scores provide a transformative take on classic genre films, including scores for Nosferatu, Conan the Barbarian, Metropolis, and Night of the Living Dead, recontextualizing them for our modern age.
