Anais Nin Diary Film Festival

Anais Nin, who is known for her diaries, was inspired by the Welsh term furrawn–talk that leads to intimacy which in turn leads us to a greater understanding of ourselves, others, and the world. The 2nd Anais Nin Diary Film Festival showcases a selection of short diary/self-reflexive films, After Mario by Shantre Pinkney, No Plan B by Nova Duarte Maritnez, and Who Is Eileen? by Kay Zheng. As well, this mini-festival premieres a feature film by Marjorie Sturm, Show Me What You Want to Show Me, which documents her life’s unfolding, testing the inspiration and limitations of psilocybin and the creation of Art while parenting in San Francisco during a time of rapid recession and mass evictions.
