General Membership FAQ

  • How do I renew my membership, and why doesn’t my email address work

When your membership is getting close to expiring you will receive an automated email to renew. To renew your membership, log in to your account and click renew. If you want to renew, but when you log in it says your email address is already in use, you are on the sign up page not the login page. If you still have trouble logging in, contact membership@roxie.com.

  • What’s with the service fee?

One perk of being a Roxie Member is not having to pay the online ticketing service fee. When logged in to your member account you will see the ticketing fee up while picking your tickets, but do not be concerned, it drops off at the point of checkout! We promise!

  • How does the free birthday ticket work?

Being a member allows you a free ticket on your birthday. To take advantage of this, all you need to do is go to the box office and make sure to have your I.D. to verify the date. You can see a Roxie-produced screening within a week of your actual birthday. If it is a screening you are nervous will sell out, contact membership@roxie.com to have us put in a booking for you. We can’t keep track of all of your birthdays, so you won’t receive a reminder email from us about claiming your birthday ticket.

  • Is it a calendar year or a year from date of sign up?

Your membership lasts a full year from the date of sign up.

  • How do I add the second person on my dual account?

Unfortunately, our loyalty program does not allow two email addresses on one account. If you’ve signed up for a dual membership and would like two different names on the account with separate cards and logins, we have made a dual membership form to fill out.

  • How many tickets to do I get per show?

If you have a single Fan, Student/Low Income membership you get 1 discounted ticket per screening. If you have a dual fan you get 2 discounted tickets per screening. Patrons get 1 discounted ticket per screening and 24 free tickets for their membership year. Dual Patrons get 2 discounted tickets per screening and 48 free tickets for their membership year. Angels get 1 free ticket per screening, and Dual Angels get 2 free tickets per screening. Any unused free tickets at the end of the membership year cannot be rolled over into a renewal.

  • How does red pass work, and can I use it online?

Signing up for a Roxie membership gives you access to red passes. A red pass acts as a free ticket to be exchanged at the box office. They are physical passes and cannot be redeemed online. If you are worried about a show selling out, contact membership@roxie.com to have us put in a booking for you, and make sure to bring the red pass with you to redeem. Red passes are mailed out to you when you sign up, along with your membership card and welcome letter, so they may take a few days or a week to arrive.

  • What movies does a red pass work for?

Red passes are not valid for some special events including film festivals, theater rentals, and special event programming. If you are not sure, email membership@roxie.com for clarification.

  • Can I pause my membership?

No, unfortunately we cannot pause your membership.

  • Can I upgrade my membership?

Yes, you can always upgrade your membership to a higher level. You can not upgrade online, you will have to contact the membership team to do the transaction for you.

  • Is there a monthly payment option?

No, unfortunately with our loyalty program we cannot accommodate monthly membership payments.

  • Besides membership, how else can I support?

There are many other ways to be involved and support the Roxie. You can volunteer, donate, and share on social media!
