Employing a modular and sliding narrative, the film playfully uses movement, crushing rhythm and dream logic to examine the ways that a child replaces a lost parent.

Fragments of a Dissonant Mind –Gretchen Telzrow: A layered study of the subconscious, Fragments of a Dissonant Mind moves through fractured impressions, and emotional static, capturing the elusive texture of an unsettled mind.

Oh Honey, Take Me Away – Theo Garvey: “Oh Honey, Take Me Away!” follows Ruth, who travels 750 miles to attend her sister’s funeral. She meets hitchhiker Annie during her journey, and the two form an unexpected relationship.

Status Unknown – Andrew Bazouzi Butte: In a series of intimate conversations, families protected under Temporary Protected Status (TPS) confront what life would look like if they were forced apart—parents and children speaking candidly about love, fear, and the meaning of home in the face of uncertain futures.

Play It Like It’s ‘54 – Nova Duarte Martinez: In 1950s San Francisco, a young Chinese-American steps into Mona’s 440, the city’s first lesbian bar, determined to explore her complex identities amidst a society that forces queer love into the shadows.

Satélite – Flor Marmolejo: A dying man attempts to communicate with his young wife who disappeared in 70s Mexico.
