Ethnographiam Exoticis: Last Moose of Ao Lu Gu Ya

This documentary, also known as ‘An da han’ or ‘Han da han’, focuses on the Ewenki people who have lived in the Greater Khingan Mountains in China for generations, just like the eponymous moose. Over recent centuries, their land is slowly taken away, their guns for hunting confiscated, and their lifestyle contest with ones considered more “civilized”.
