Presented in memory of Eleanor Coppola, this  award-winning documentary uses behind-the-scenes footage filmed by her during the 1976–77 location shoot of Apocalypse Now in the Philippines. In 1990, Coppola turned her material over to filmmakers George Hickenlooper and Fax Bahr, who shot new interviews with the original cast and crew and brought together this fascinating account, narrated by Eleanor Coppola, of the challenges faced by Francis Ford Coppola on this epic project that more often than not seemed insurmountable.
