Moving between intimate private moments and major public milestones, the documentary reveals the realities behind the spotlight: the struggle to survive as a working artist, the pressure of becoming a symbol, and the friendships and chosen family that sustain her along the way.

At its heart, A Deeper Love is a story about persistence, chosen family, and the power of queer artists to shape culture while fighting to live authentically.
