SF DocFest 2024: Party Queens & Co.Ink

Filmmaker in attendance

The guitarist in the hard rock band BULLET, Hampus Klang, lives in the Swedish countryside and when he gets off the band’s somewhat legendary tour bus, he has completely different interests. He raises chickens, and competes with them at shows where the hope lives for really high scores. Maybe he should start shampooing the chickens before the next competition? His ambitions extend so far that he creates his own breed, Party Queens, who are of course some kind of hard rock chicken. Party Queens is a warm documentary about living your dream, about a man who stylishly finds his happiness in two completely different worlds… which maybe aren’t so far apart after all?
