CINE+MÁS 15: The Ones From Below
Gregorio is a peasant who lives a frustrated life in his small town, Rosillas. Proudly, yet arrogantly, he decides to recover the water of his family’s small canal which has been diverted by Colonel Iglesias, a neighboring, Argentine, wealthy landowner who has established a strategic alliance with the town’s mayor in benefit of his own vineyard. In his journey, Gregorio has to face the communal negligence, overall corruption and the socio-economic power of an unmoving social elite.
