Ugo Bienvenu Shorts Program

From the mind behind the Oscar-nominated Arco

A program of 9 shorts tracing Ugo Bienvenu’s evolution as one of the most singular voices in contemporary European animation, from his early work at Les Gobelins and CalArts to the creation of Remembers with Félix de Givry, a studio that has become a hub for illustration, music, and cinema, serving both as a home for their own films and a space for nurturing the next generation of animators (Jocelyn Charles, Stephen Vuillemin, Tamerlan Bekmurzayev). Through groundbreaking music videos and award-winning shorts, Remembers has grown into a collective of artists and a true laboratory for innovative visual storytelling, culminating in Bienvenu’s striking debut feature Arco. Presented for a single screening only.
